Istanbul to Phnom Penh: Turkish Airlines Adds Cambodia to Its Network

Turkish Airlines is expanding its Southeast Asia network with the launch of flights from Istanbul to Phnom Penh, the capital of Cambodia, starting December 10, 2025.

With this addition, Cambodia becomes the airline’s seventh destination in Southeast Asia, and Phnom Penh joins a growing list of 11 cities in the region served by the carrier.

The new route is expected to strengthen trade, tourism, and connectivity between Türkiye and Cambodia. As the only European airline operating flights to Phnom Penh, Turkish Airlines continues to expand its global footprint while offering seamless connections between Europe and Asia.

Strategic Expansion in Southeast Asia

The launch of Turkish Airlines’ Phnom Penh service is part of its broader strategy to expand in Asia, which now includes 20 cities and 21 airports in the Far East. Flights will operate three times a week, with a stopover in Bangkok, Thailand, before continuing to Cambodia.

Flight schedule:

  • Istanbul to Phnom Penh: Departures on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays.
  • Phnom Penh to Istanbul: Departures on Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.

A New Gateway to Cambodia for European Travelers

For European travelers, the new Turkish Airlines route makes Phnom Penh more accessible than ever. With the airline’s extensive network, passengers from major European cities can now reach Cambodia with just one stop in Istanbul.

Passengers can book tickets for Istanbul to Phnom Penh flights until July 31, 2025, for travel until June 30, 2026.
