Antalya Gears Up for Global Tourism Technology Summit 2025

Antalya is preparing to welcome industry leaders, tech innovators, and global tourism professionals as it hosts the highly anticipated 10th Tourism Technology Summit on November 18-19, 2025.

For the first time under its new name and logo, the event will transform the Mediterranean city into a hub of innovation, where digital transformation and cutting-edge solutions for travel and hospitality take center stage.

The official launch of the summit took place at Antalya Culture and Arts Center, a landmark in the city’s cultural life. Members of the Turkish Informatics Association’s (TBD) Antalya Branch, which organizes the summit, attended in strong numbers, highlighting the industry’s growing interest in the future of tourism technologies.

A Decade of Innovation in Tourism Technology

Founded in 1971 in Ankara, the Turkish Informatics Association has been at the forefront of promoting digital solutions in various sectors. Its Antalya branch has hosted the Tourism Technologies Day for nine consecutive years, building a reputation as a premier platform for technology and travel professionals. Now rebranded as the Tourism Technology Summit, the event expands its scope beyond hotel management technologies, embracing all aspects of the tourism ecosystem.

According to Ali Arıcı, President of TBD Antalya Branch, the rebranded summit reflects a broader vision and strategic approach to the future of tourism. “With the Tourism Technologies Summit, we have created a platform that covers travel, accommodation, transportation, destination management, artificial intelligence, and sustainability,” Arıcı said during the launch. He emphasized that the summit is now a national and international platform driving digital transformation in tourism.

Exploring the Future of Travel

The 2025 edition of the summit will focus on how technology continues to reshape the travel experience. From AI-powered hotel management systems to data-driven destination planning, the event promises to showcase how innovation is setting new standards in customer service and operational efficiency.

  • Artificial Intelligence: Streamlining guest services and predictive travel experiences.
  • Smart Destinations: Enhancing tourism management through integrated digital platforms.
  • Sustainability: Leveraging technology to reduce environmental impact in tourism operations.

By creating a hub for industry experts, the summit fosters knowledge sharing and collaboration, enabling tourism stakeholders to anticipate and respond to emerging trends. Arıcı noted that a more professional team is managing this year’s event, reflecting its ambition to compete with global tourism technology forums.

Antalya: A Natural Stage for Global Tourism Events

As one of Turkey’s most popular destinations, Antalya provides an ideal backdrop for a summit that blends innovation with leisure. With its luxury hotels, advanced convention facilities, and year-round appeal, the city continues to position itself as a leader in hosting international tourism and technology events.

Beyond the conference sessions, participants will experience the unique charm of the Mediterranean coast. Delegates will have opportunities to explore local cultural attractions, further emphasizing the link between technology and the travel experiences it enhances.
