Singapore to host 4-night BTS performance in December 2026, the longest run in Asia, outside of Korea and Japan

The iconic Korean boy band, BTS, has announced their massive world tour for this year after a three-year hiatus when their band members performed their mandatory military service.  They will be releasing a new album in March, much to the anticipation of their fans called ARMY and to their great delight, the band released details for the BTW World Tour soon after.

The band consists of Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V, and Jung Kook who sang the song “Dreamers” which was part of the 2022 FIFA World Cup official soundtrack.

The global tour will kick off with three nights of concerts in Goyang, South Korea in April. Following the opening shows, BTS will embark on an ambitious world tour that will span the remainder of 2026 and extend into 2027.

The group will be performing in Singapore for four nights in December, marking it the longest stop in Asia, outside of Korea and Japan. The Singapore Tourism Board (STB) said that this underscores Singapore as a premier destination for world-class entertainment with a vibrant, year-round calendar of exciting leisure experiences.

Singapore well-positioned to host large-scale concerts

STB also said that a strong track record in hosting major international events stems from the collective strength of Singapore’s entertainment ecosystem, encompassing expertise in delivering exceptional experiences, world-class venues, strong regional connectivity, excellent infrastructure, a safe environment and diverse accommodation options, making Singapore well-positioned to host multi-night concerts of this scale.

BTS has a strong history with audiences in Singapore, having performed here several times since their debut, including in 2014 and in 2017.  Notably, their concert in 2019 made them the first K-pop act to play at, and sell out, the Singapore National Stadium which has capacity of 55,000. BTS members have also held solo concerts; with SUGA performing in 2023 and j-hope in 2025, both at the Singapore Indoor Stadium. Most recently, Singapore was featured in Jin’s music video “Don’t Say You Love Me”.

Packed concert schedule

Event organisers said fans remain at the heart of the industry’s momentum, boosting tourism and driving spending to support the wider economy as Singapore heads into another busy year on the events calendar.

Singapore has a packed concert schedule with big names confirmed for 2026, including Bryan Adams, Josh Groban, OneRepublic, My Chemical Romance, Westlife and many other K-pop acts.

Big-name concerts by acts such as Blackpink, Lady Gaga, Black Eyed Peas, Jason Derulo and many other K-pop bands SEVENTEEN and ENHYPEN drew in the concert crowds to Singapore in 2025 following a blockbuster year in pop concerts in 2024. K-pop concerts in Singapore consistently attract regional and international fans.

Coldplay played an unprecedented six sold-out shows at the National Stadium in January 2024, making them the first act to perform that many nights in Singapore.  This was followed by Taylor Swift, who also performed six sold-out shows in March 2024 at the same venue. Both acts drew in more than half a million concertgoers. Bruno Mars also performed three sold-out shows in April 2024 as well as Ed Sheeran who performed a one-night-only concert in February.
