Amtrak announced its new fall sale, “Amtrak Across America” to help customers visit many destinations across the country for up to 30 percent off a standard fare.
This special fare is available on Amtrak.com until Friday, Oct. 12 and valid for travel from Tues, Nov. 27, 2018, to Wednesday, May 22, 2019, with no blackout dates, as it can be used for Christmas, New Years and other federal and local holidays.
The sale offers great opportunities to see the country for any vacation itinerary, including long-distance travel, day trips, and weekend getaways during the fall, winter, and spring. The sale is valid on most Amtrak trains, including the Auto Train, City of New Orleans, Southwest Chief, Adirondack, and more. All prices will be automatically discounted from the standard fare price. No discount code is needed; prices are as shown and can’t be combined with other discounts.
Amtrak offers Wi-Fi on most trains, the freedom to use phones and electronic devices at all times (no “airplane mode”), the ability to travel with small pets on many trains, large spacious seats with ample leg room, and no middle seat. On Amtrak, customers also benefit from one of the most generous baggage policies in the travel industry with up to four free bags (two carry-ons and two personal bags).
