Andrew Lakefish has been named the new Director of Sales & Marketing of the Anaheim Marriott.
Mr. Lakefish comes to the Anaheim Marriott from Portland, Oregon where he was most recently Area Sales Leader for Marriott International in the Western Mountain Pacific Region. His 16- year career with Marriott has included a previous stint at the Anaheim Marriott as a Senior Account Executive from 2006 to 2010. Other positions include regional sales office positions for Marriott throughout California, with a specialty in large group and convention sales, which is a perfect fit for the Anaheim Marriott.
In his new role, Mr. Lakefish will be responsible for all sales and marketing efforts for the hotel encompassing leisure, individual business travel, and group business — which is an important market segment for this property which has 169,662 square feet of flexible function space, spread across 23 event rooms with a maximum of 44 breakout rooms.
