Sunwing is adding Miami to its roster of destinations for the first time this winter.
Travellers can take advantage of convenient, direct departures from Montreal on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays starting December 1.
Home to a packed year-round calendar of world-class entertainment, sports and cultural events, Miami offers travellers a sunny getaway with plenty of beaches, numerous restaurants and shopping opportunities. The city is also the perfect base from which to explore Southern Florida or embark on a cruise.
Executive Vice President of Sunwing Travel Group Quebec, Sam Char, explained that the move to add services to Miami this coming winter was a result of consumer demand in Quebec, “Florida is a very popular destination with Quebecers and Miami is a major hub for beaches, city stays and much more. This new flight program will offer our Montreal customers more ways to explore Florida this winter together with even more convenient cruise package options.”
President and Chief Executive Officer of ADM, Philippe Rainville, also commented on the new flight service, “The addition of Sunwing’s Montreal-Miami route enhances air service options to this southern U.S. destination. Quebecers have a close relationship with Florida, especially during the winter season, and we are pleased to welcome a new carrier on this route, which is always very popular among our passengers.”
Sunwing offers cruise packages with Norwegian Cruise Line and MSC Cruises sailing from Miami (including convenient transfers from the airport to nearby PortMiami) that offer a wide range of Caribbean itineraries. Customers could also choose a cruise & stay package and enjoy a vacation in Miami or Fort Lauderdale before or after they sail.
