Hilton Expands Portfolio in German Capital

Hilton expands hospitality offering in the German capital by officially welcoming its third Hampton by Hilton property.

Hampton by Hilton Berlin East Side Gallery opens as the bustling metropolis continues to expand its hospitality offering to accommodate the city’s rising number of visitors. The property joins Hampton by Hilton Berlin City West and Hampton by Hilton Berlin City Centre Alexanderplatz within the capital, whilst also becoming the brand’s ninth Hampton by Hilton hotel in Germany.

The German capital continues to witness promising growth with the number of guests visiting Berlin, climbing by 1.8% to 12.96 million in 2017. During peak seasons, an average of 70,000 passengers use Berlin Tegel Airport every day, while Berlin Schönefeld handles approximately 40,000 passengers a day.

Set to help meet the city’s growing demand for quality midscale accommodation options and authentic hospitality, Hampton by Hilton Berlin City East Side Gallery is conveniently located in the neighbourhood of Berlin Friedrichshain, in the heart of Berlin’s new Entertainment District, offering guests a comfortable stay in a central location. The 254-room property is just a 40-minute drive from either Berlin Tegel Airport or Berlin Schönefeld Airport, and within walking distance to the train station.

“As one of the most stimulating creative and cultural centres in Europe, Berlin is home to profound history, contrasting architecture and exceptional cuisine, hosting both business travellers and leisure seekers alike,” comments General Manager, Dana Ganzel. “We’re excited to offer guests the opportunity to take comfort in our warm and friendly Hamptonality service, while they explore all that this beautiful city has to offer.”

Hampton by Hilton Berlin City East Side Gallery is located directly next to the Mercedes-Benz Arena, which opens on 13th October 2018, featuring a UCI LUXE Cinema, Bowling World and Verti Music Hall. Book your room in this new hotel.
