Preferred Hotel Group Introduces New Name And Visual Identity

Preferred Hotel Group – the family-owned company that manages and operates other global travel and hospitality brands including Preferred Hotels & Resorts, Beyond Green, Historic Hotels of America, and Historic Hotels Worldwide – introduced a new name and visual identity for its B2B consulting company: PTG Consulting.

Formerly PHG Consulting, PTG Consulting is an award-winning strategic partner for the tourism and hospitality industry’s most dynamic brands, destinations, and hotels.

Now within its 10th year of operation and as the company continues to elevate its service offerings, expand its client portfolio, and welcome talented new associates in key global markets, PTG Consulting’s rebranding was designed to reflect the full scope of companies that the brand represents across the travel and hospitality industries and further strengthen its position in the market.

Following its extensive rebranding initiative, PTG Consulting now offers a new website, PTGConsulting.com, and its new visual identity is punctuated by a compass graphic, warm colour scheme, and brand essence, “Go Further With Us”. Aligned with Preferred Hotel Group’s corporate brand promise of “Believe in Travel,” these updates signify PTG Consulting’s commitment to working collaboratively with all clients to deliver integrated, custom-tailored solutions that inspire, engage, and convert in the most impactful areas. Regular updates from PTG Consulting will be available on both Instagram (@PTGConsulting) and LinkedIn.

“With more than 50 years of experience and a full team of specialists who have dedicated their careers to travel and hospitality, PTG Consulting understands the nuanced challenges faced by travel and tourism companies, destinations, and hotels from a holistic perspective, whether they are trying to attract domestic or international business,” said Lindsey Ueberroth, CEO of Preferred Hotel Group.

“The travel landscape has shifted dramatically in the past two years and, having supported many hotels and destinations through this time, the PTG Consulting team has impactful insight and practical knowledge to help their clients not only meet but also exceed their business objectives, while also identifying new areas of opportunity and capitalising on market trends.”

PTG Consulting began offering representation services to destination and cruise lines in October 2012. Since then, PTG Consulting has expanded to offer services in the areas of revenue management; public relations and media relations; digital marketing and social media; operations and asset management; travel trade and product development; pre-opening and opening support; sales; and sustainability through its affiliate Beyond Green Travel, which Preferred Hotel Group purchased in 2020.

Some of PTG Consulting’s longstanding clients include the Guadalajara Convention and Visitors Bureau, who utilises the company for group sales, public relations, and social media channel operation; the Suzhou Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television and Tourism, who engages in a robust programme consisting of public relations, social media and events in North America and China; and Nemacolin, who works with PTG Consulting for sales representation. PTG Consulting’s current client portfolio also includes The European Travel Commission; The Cayman Islands; Visit Florida; Visit Puerto Vallarta; Toscana Resort Castelfalfi (Montaione, Italy); The Huntley Hotel, Santa Monica Beach (California, USA); Hotel Californian (Santa Barbara, California, USA); Sommerro (Oslo, Norway); The Londoner (London, U.K.); and Hotel Bristol Berlin (Berlin, Germany); among others.
