Four Points by Sheraton Debuts in Scotland: Edinburgh Welcomes New Premier Destination

Marriott International’s celebrated brand, Four Points by Sheraton, is expanding its global footprint with the unveiling of its first property in Edinburgh, marking not only its premiere in Scotland but also its second establishment in the UK.

The newly opened hotel features 69 impeccably styled guestrooms spread over four floors. Designed to cater to the discerning needs of modern travellers, it boasts an on-site bar and an Italian-themed restaurant. Four Points Edinburgh seamlessly blends contemporary design with the city’s renowned Scottish warmth, positioning itself as the go-to destination for both business and leisure voyagers.

Nestled in a prime location, the hotel is a stone’s throw from Haymarket train station and offers easy tram connectivity to the airport. Visitors will find unparalleled convenience as London is merely over four hours away by train. Additionally, Edinburgh’s iconic landmarks, including Edinburgh Castle, the Royal Mile, and the bustling Princes Street, are easily accessible. Rugby enthusiasts are in for a treat, with the Scottish Gas Murrayfield Stadium located just a short tram ride or a brisk 20-minute walk from the hotel.

For those with a culinary inclination, the hotel’s signature restaurant, Amalfino, offers a delectable menu inspired by the Amalfi coast. Diners can embark on a culinary journey to Italy, complemented by the restaurant’s lively atmosphere and a striking open pizza oven.

Evenings at Four Points Edinburgh promise relaxation with the brand’s exclusive Best Brews program. Guests can wind down with two local craft beers, curated specifically for their distinct flavor profiles.

Vedrana Riley of Ciel Capital lauded the hotel’s prime location, emphasizing its strategic positioning in Edinburgh’s commercial district and its proximity to the iconic Scottish Gas Murrayfield Stadium. Meanwhile, Gilbert Grosjean from Park Hotels Holding UK expressed enthusiasm over the acquisition, foreseeing it as a valuable addition to Edinburgh’s hotel landscape.

The new hotel will be managed by Cycas Hospitality and joins the hotel management company’s portfolio of 50 European hotels, including the recently opened Residence Inn by Marriott Manchester Piccadilly.
