IHG Hotels & Resorts, in collaboration with Franzé Developments, have launched a new Holiday Inn & Suites in Geelong, Australia.

This establishment is the first major new-build hotel in the region in nearly two decades, bringing the globally renowned Holiday Inn brand to Geelong.

Situated within the sprawling $200 million Geelong Quarter by Franzé Developments, the hotel stands as the largest in the Geelong and Bellarine area. It boasts 180 elegantly designed rooms, including 23 suites, and introduces Holiday Inn’s innovative Open Lobby concept. This unique design merges the reception, restaurant, lounge, and business centre into a cohesive space, offering guests a versatile experience.

The hotel’s restaurant, Maestro, curated by the acclaimed Australian chef Adrian Richardson, showcases a menu inspired by local ingredients. For those always on the go, the hotel ensures seamless connectivity with complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi and a dedicated e-bar. The property also caters to events, with spaces designed to host social gatherings, conferences, and more.

Guests can relish breathtaking views of the Geelong waterfront from many rooms, and the hotel’s commitment to sustainability is evident in features like rainwater harvesting and energy-efficient amenities.

Paul Franze, Founder & Director of Franzé Developments, expressed his enthusiasm about the project, emphasizing its potential to drive Geelong’s growth.
