Viva Aerobus will land in Orlando and San Antonio, offering to all travelers its unique offer characterized by low prices, customer-focused service and the youngest fleet in Mexico, which is integrated by 37 Airbus A320 with an average age of 3.3 years.

“From our sister city of Monterrey’s citrus groves to its soaring Mount Silla, Viva Aerobus’s decision to begin non-stop service to Orlando is most welcomed,” says Phil Brown, Chief Executive Officer of the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority. “This summer seasonal service will continue to strengthen our economic and cultural ties between Central Florida and Mexico’s state of Nuevo Leon.”

“This is great news for San Antonio, because we have travelers with strong business and leisure ties to Monterrey. This service will attract travelers who have been looking for additional flight options to Monterrey and connections to more than 30 destinations throughout Mexico, “said Jesus Saenz, Director of Airports, San Antonio Airport System.

With these new routes, Viva Aerobus increases its presence in the United States, where already operates a total of 19 routes, thus serving the needs of more international travelers. Viva registered a 56% increase in the number of passengers Mexico – US in 2019 compared to 2018, with more than half a million customers.

These routes also open the doors of Mexico, since passengers will be able to connect with more than 30 key destinations within the country through the service of connecting flights offered by Viva Aerobus via Monterrey. Viva is the airline with the widest route offer from Monterrey, covering much of the Mexican territory, flying to destinations such as Acapulco, Cancun, Mexico City, Guadalajara, Ixtapa Zihuatanejo and Puerto Vallarta, among many others.

“We will continue to expand our offer, backed by the youngest fleet in Mexico and the best prices. This is part of our commitment to all travelers: make available to everyone the opportunity to fly to more and more destinations. And with this announcement, we already offer a total of 123 routes, 22 of them international,” said Juan Carlos Zuazua, General Director of Viva Aerobus.
