Renfe has launched an enticing January sales campaign, offering discounted fares that start at just 7 euros on selected train routes.
The Spanish rail operator’s “Superprecios” campaign is valid for travel starting January 20 and covers high-speed AVE, low-cost Avlo, Alvia, Intercity, Euromed, and AVE International trains, making it one of the most affordable ways to explore Spain.
For just 7 euros, travelers can book Avlo journeys across the Southern, Eastern, and Northeastern corridors. Meanwhile, AVE and long-distance routes are available from as low as 14 euros, including popular trips like Madrid-Valencia or Madrid-León.
Transverse routes, such as Valencia-Sevilla or Zaragoza-Málaga, start at just 25 euros. Other budget-friendly options include Madrid-Oviedo for 18 euros, Barcelona-Bilbao for 20 euros, and Madrid-Barcelona for 21 euros.
The promotion also offers flexibility. Travelers can upgrade their tickets to the Elige category, which includes one free change, for just an additional euro. This feature adds extra convenience for those looking to plan trips without worrying about changes in their schedules.
Beyond affordability, Renfe underscores its commitment to sustainability. The company’s electric trains are certified “Carbono Neutro”(Carbon Neutral) by AENOR, ensuring zero direct emissions and 100% renewable energy sources. This green approach prevents the annual release of 4.1 million tons of CO2 and saves over 1.1 million tons of oil-equivalent energy.
The Superprecios campaign aligns perfectly with Renfe’s goal to promote eco-friendly, accessible travel while showcasing Spain’s scenic landscapes and cultural destinations. From bustling Madrid to coastal Valencia, or historic Sevilla to vibrant Barcelona, the discounted tickets provide an excellent opportunity for locals and tourists alike to explore the country’s diverse offerings.
Whether you’re traveling for business, leisure, or adventure, Renfe’s unbeatable prices and sustainable transport options make this the perfect time to plan your journey across Spain. But act fast—these discounted fares won’t last long!
