ITB China 2021

Business Travel MICE Procurement Convention at ITB China Special Edition 2021

The Business Travel MICE Procurement Convention (BTMPC) will take place at this year’s ITB China Special Edition – a newly designed event format that combines core trade show with convention elements, held in Beijing from May 7-8, 2021.

As the most pragmatic and professional MICE industry event in China, the 10th edition of the Business Travel MICE Procurement Convention will take place on the second day of the ITB China Special Edition, 8 May 2021, to feature in-depth discussions on industry practices and new trends that will shape the future of MICE events.

China BT MICE is an established digital trade media publication specializing and building up expertise on MICE and Corporate Travel since 2008. It is not only regarded as an important information hub, but also serves as indispensable network of professionals in the MICE industry. The cooperation with BTMPC will sharpen the MICE profile of the ITB China Special Edition and add significant value to all participants by bringing in more MICE industry experiences on product innovation, transformation, upgrading, and expanding the network with more MICE and corporate travel professionals.

“Co-organized by China BT MICE and ITB China, the Business Travel MICE Procurement Convention (BTMPC) is representative of the general trend of “micro-crossover” integration in the current market, contributing to mutual and respective advantages in terms of professional resources while supporting the survival and further development of the MICE industry in the new market environment,” said Mr. Lenny Jia, CEO and Founder of China BT MICE.

More than 500 MICE professionals, including MICE and corporate buyers, hotels, domestic and international destinations, and representatives from across the industry are expected to attend the Business Travel MICE Procurement Convention. The event includes forums on MICE and corporate travel, a dedicated booth area for brand and product launches, matchmaking meetings, and the award ceremony “The Miracle Workers”. The award recognizes the most successful companies in the MICE industry over the past year.

In its nine years of development, BTMPC has become the flagship event for the latest trends in the MICE industry, an important platform for marketing and customer acquisition, and the industry’s central social network. In 2019, BTMPC attracted a total of more than 1.000 attendees to its Beijing Convention and in the same year China BT MICE successfully launched an BTMPC Shanghai edition.

The ITB China Special Edition is a 2-day event, taking place in Beijing from 7-8 May 2021. The event features prescheduled meetings with Chinese top buyers, networking events and an extensive series of content sessions by well-known industry experts, focusing on new traveler demands and travel trends. Additionally, the hybrid character of the event will be set up for those who are not able to attend in person. Check more details on our website: http://www.itb-china.com/beijing
