Turkey to welcome more Ukrainian tourists in 2018

antalya2Turkey welcomed a record number of tourists from Ukraine in 2016 and 2017. According to Turkey's Ambassador to Kiev; Yönet Can Tezel, the number of Ukrainian tourists will surpass last years' tourist arrival numbers.

The total number of Ukrainian tourists visiting Turkey increased 23.39% in 2017 compared to 2016 and accounted as 1,212,644 tourists. Most of those tourists enjoyed their holiday in Antalya. Tezel stated that there is a significant rise in arrivals in 2018 compared to last year.

Tezel added that Ukraine is Turkey's 7th most important source market for tourism.
