Iconic football legends Steven Gerard and Cafu appeared in a new Turkish Airlines advertisement.
Turkish Airlines, the first airline to become the official sponsor of the UEFA Champions League, released an exclusive film, "Road to Istanbul."
The 71-second ad was directed by Sharif Abdel Mawla and tells the story about the unifying power and energy of football and its mission that brings differences together through Istanbul's mission that unties worlds at a single point.
The ad captures the lively and dynamic atmosphere of Istanbul, which serves as a meeting point for continents. Through the lens of football, the ad showcases the city's vibrant energy and the excitement of the upcoming final.
But the ad goes beyond simply promoting the football match, emphasizing that visitors will find much more than just a final in Istanbul.
The 2023 Champions League final is scheduled for June 10 at Istanbul's Ataturk Olympic Stadium, which previously hosted the 2005 final that England's Liverpool came back against Italy's AC Milan to win the European football's top-tier club title.
Spain's Real Madrid will face Manchester City from England, while AC Milan will take on archrivals Inter Milan in the two-legged semis. (AA)
