Two Marriott Hotels Appoint Erica Tortora

JW Marriott Tampa Water Street and Tampa Marriott Water Street introduce Erica Tortora as the complex’s new Senior Marketing Manager.

In her role, she will oversee the marketing department, developing strategic programs to increase occupancy and spreading awareness of the property’s extensive offerings.

“We feel fortunate to have Erica join our growing team here in Tampa,” said Chris Adkins, the properties’ Director of Sales & Marketing.

“In her previous positions, she has shown herself to be a creative thinker and an innovative leader, and we’re confident that her expertise will continue to yield excellent results for both properties.”



Tortora comes to JW Marriott Tampa Water Street and Tampa Marriott Water Street with a decade of experience in public relations and marketing. A graduate of Emerson College in Boston with a Communications degree, she has led strategies for several premiere hospitality brands, including Accor, Fairmont Hotels & Resorts and Park Hyatt New York.

Most recently, Tortora supervised marketing efforts for The Ritz-Carlton, South Beach and The Ritz-Carlton, Bal Harbour. Working with both The Ritz-Carlton and Marriott International brand teams, she helped create stories around targeted campaigns, including Marriott weddings and Formula 1.

“In a short time, JW Marriott Tampa Water Street and Tampa Marriott Water Street have risen to the top of Tampa’s hospitality and convention offerings,” Tortora said.

“I’m excited to contribute to what is undoubtedly a bright future for the complex.”
