SAS to Fly Copenhagen – Bangkok
SAS is continuing to strengthen its offer and to accommodate increased demand for leisure travel, SAS will now open a new route to Bangkok, Thailand.

SAS on Feburary 9, 2023 started direct routes to John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York from Copenhagen.
SAS is now adding a second departure to Shanghai making it two weekly departures from Copenhagen.
On February 9, SAS will launch its new route between Copenhagen Airport and John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York.
Following a 15-day strike action, SAS and SAS Scandinavia pilots’ unions* have reached an agreement on new collective bargaining agreements and the pilot strike has ended.
Scandinavia’s SAS said a pilot strike now in its 11th day threatened the airline’s ability to access bridge financing without which it may be forced to radically downsize or could collapse.

Members of the SAS Scandinavia pilots’ unions have been called out on strike. The strike yields cancelations across the flight schedule and thousands of travelers are affected.
