MGallery, one of Accor’s most successful brands in Vietnam, will have a new property in Phu Quoc. The resort is set to debut in 2023, with 94 hotel rooms and 37 villas.
Offering significant potential as a leading regional travel destination, Phu Quoc continues to attract investors to collaborate with hotel operators such as Accor to build and operate internationally branded resorts. The new MGallery project is the first hotel developed by Trung Son Group and will form the foundation for the group’s expansion into the hospitality industry.
The 60-hectare MGallery project will be located in Suoi Lon, Duong To, 15 minutes from Phu Quoc international airport. Drawing inspiration from the National Park of Phu Quoc, the resort will offer a secluded experience alongside forests and beaches. Guests will also be able to visit the neighbouring architectural masterpiece of Truc Lam Zen Monastery – Ho Quoc Pagoda, the largest pagoda in the Mekong Delta region.
In addition to the 94 hotel rooms and 37 villas, the resort will feature two restaurants, a meeting room and wellness facilities which will include a swimming pool, gym and spa. Natural materials and tones will be featured throughout the resort’s interiors, creating an environment which feels one with nature. This resort will join Accor’s seven properties in Phu Quoc, confirming the group’s position as the leading hotel operator on this flourishing island.
“We are delighted to continue our expansion in Phu Quoc and we are pleased to partner with Trung Son Corp for this promising hospitality venture . With our diverse collection of brands in Phu Quoc including Mövenpick, Pullman and Novotel, the island has become a strategic destination for our group. Accor’s second MGallery hotel on the island is a testament to the outstanding potential of Vietnam’s coastal tourism, which we believe will have great appeal to both domestic and international markets. Our development plan will continue to grow with more exciting brands, offering additional options to our loyal guests”, said Garth Simmons, Chief Executive Officer, Accor Southeast Asia, Japan and South Korea.
