Aman Nai Lert Bangkok now open, marking a significant moment in the luxury travel world and Aman’s continued expansion into iconic global cities. Situated within the lush greenery of the historic Nai Lert Park, the new 36-storey hotel offers a rare combination of tranquillity and cosmopolitan vibrancy in the heart of Bangkok.
Following in the footsteps of Aman Tokyo and Aman New York, this highly anticipated opening also represents a homecoming for the Aman brand, returning to Thailand nearly four decades after the debut of Amanpuri. Now, with Aman Nai Lert Bangkok, the brand fuses Thai heritage with its signature ethos of peace, privacy, and refined design.
The location is steeped in history. Nai Lert Park, dating back to 1915, was established by the visionary entrepreneur Phraya Bhakdinorasreth, known as “Nai Lert.” The site now hosts 52 hotel suites and 34 branded residences, an exclusive Aman Club, an expansive 1,500-square-metre Aman Spa and Wellness Centre, and multiple venues for dining and socialising—all enveloped by the serene ambiance of the park.
Vlad Doronin, Chairman and CEO of Aman Group, describes the opening as a milestone for the brand’s evolution: “The hotel, Aman Club, and branded residences will redefine luxury hospitality in Bangkok. Providing exclusivity, exceptional location, generous amenities, and unparalleled service, Aman Nai Lert Bangkok sets a new benchmark for the city.”
The hotel’s architecture and interior design, led by Jean-Michel Gathy of Denniston, draw heavily from the cultural and natural heritage of Thailand. The property features bespoke artworks from Thai artists, including a 12-metre-tall sculptural tree adorned with 6,000 gold leaves rising through the central atrium. The lobby installation of 3,000 spinning tops forms the Thai numeral one (๑), symbolising greatness and the enduring legacy of Nai Lert.
Every suite in Aman Nai Lert Bangkok is a spacious sanctuary, starting at 94 square metres and offering floor-to-ceiling windows, muted colour palettes, and cutting-edge technology. The Terrace Suite includes a private open-air lounge, while the Aman Suite, spanning an entire floor at 713 square metres, offers three bedrooms, an entertainment room, and a private spa.
Dining at Aman Nai Lert Bangkok is a cultural and culinary journey. Arva, the 9th-floor Italian restaurant, celebrates fresh, seasonal ingredients. Guests can also enjoy drinks at the 1872 bar, named after the birth year of Nai Lert, or relax at The Pool bar under the canopy of the park. Elevated Japanese dining comes to Bangkok with Sesui, an omakase sushi experience, and Hiori, an interactive teppanyaki counter, both available on the 19th floor for Aman Club members and in-house guests.
The Aman Spa & Wellness Centre spans three floors and is among the largest in the city. It includes eight treatment rooms, a Banya Spa House with private steam rooms and a jacuzzi, and a medical wellness facility operated by Hertitude Clinic. Here, guests can receive cryotherapy, IV therapy, and fully customised wellness programmes. The facilities also include cold plunge pools, saunas, hydrotherapy areas, and movement studios for yoga, Pilates, and personal training.
The outdoor swimming pool is surrounded by an elliptical courtyard centered on a century-old Sompong tree, offering guests a tranquil place to relax. Cultural experiences curated by the hotel include private dinners in the park’s Heritage Home and evening tuk-tuk explorations of Bangkok’s spiritual landmarks.
Aman Nai Lert Bangkok also supports humanitarian causes. Following the March 28 earthquake in Myanmar, the hotel has pledged to donate a portion of April’s proceeds to charities assisting those affected by the disaster.
This opening adds to Aman’s growing portfolio of 35 serene hotels, resorts, and residences worldwide. With 24 more projects in development, Aman continues to expand both in remote natural settings and key urban locations. Aman Nai Lert Bangkok not only raises the bar for luxury hospitality in Southeast Asia but also deepens the brand’s legacy of culturally immersive, emotionally resonant experiences.
