The independent International Hospitality Awards ceremony, the only one in Ukraine, was held on March 1, 2020, at the Intercontinental Kyiv.
More than 200 guests attended the Awards Ceremony which honored the best hotels.
The International Hospitality Awards are given in 27 nominations covering virtually all spheres of the modern hospitality market.
This year, hotels from 21 European countries have competed for the Awards with 8,000 representatives being at the selection stage, 300 nominees selected out of those, 130 finalists, and 27 hotels that became winners.

The result a hotel achieved consisted of three grades – 25% by Booking.com, 25% by TrustYou, 50% by the Expert Board. The international audit company Grant Thornton Ukraine was responsible for the assessment transparency and result counting.
In comparison to other world-known competitions of the similar concept, hotels are guaranteed not to be charged for their participation at International Hospitality Awards, since it does not require any financial contribution at all stages of the event.
