Raffles Boston

Boston’s Back Bay Welcomes Raffles

The iconic Raffles Hotels & Resorts brand has unveiled its latest gem, Raffles Boston, marking its first mixed-use development in North America. This grand opening signifies a new chapter in the 136-year legacy of the esteemed hospitality brand.

Nestled in the heart of Back Bay, Raffles Boston boasts 147 lavish guestrooms and a plethora of unique spaces for guests, residents, and locals to explore. The hotel’s prime location places it within proximity to Boston’s most sought-after attractions, including Copley Square, Trinity Church, Fenway Park, and the Museum of Fine Arts.

Upon arrival, guests are greeted by a three-story Sky Lobby on the 17th floor, anchored by the brand’s signature Grand Stair. Beyond being a mere check-in point, this space serves as a hub for socializing, offering four distinct dining venues. Among these is Amar by Chef George Mendes, which offers a fusion of modern Portuguese cuisine and Boston’s maritime heritage. The Long Bar & Terrace, designed by Paolo Ferrari, provides a panoramic view of the South End, while a Speakeasy offers a curated selection of cocktails and bites. The Raffles Writer’s Lounge, a hallmark of the brand, pays homage to the literary greats who have graced its counterpart in Singapore.

The 4th floor is a haven of relaxation, housing a state-of-the-art gym, a 20-meter indoor pool with breathtaking city vistas, and the prestigious Guerlain Spa at Raffles Boston, in collaboration with the famed Parisian beauty brand.

Omer Acar, CEO of Raffles & Orient Express, expressed his enthusiasm, stating, “Boston, with its rich history and cultural significance, is the perfect backdrop for the Raffles experience.”

Oliver Dudler, General Manager of Raffles Boston, echoed this sentiment, emphasizing the hotel’s commitment to blending impeccable design, culinary excellence, wellness, and unparalleled service.

The property’s design, a blend of local inspiration and cosmopolitan elegance, was crafted by The Architectural Team (TAT) Inc., Stonehill Taylor, and the Rockwell Group. The development team, a blend of local and global talents, includes Jordan Warshaw of The Noannet Group, Gary Saunders of Saunders Hotel Group, and Cain International.

In a joint statement, Cain International, Noannet Group, and Saunders Hotel Group expressed their gratitude to the City of Boston and its residents for their unwavering support, emphasizing Raffles’ unique blend of global and local, historic and contemporary elements.

With its doors now open, Raffles Boston is set to redefine luxury hospitality in the city, welcoming guests from around the world to experience its unparalleled charm.
