Dusit International Expands in the Philippines with New Manila Hotel

Dusit International expands in the Philippines with the signing of Dusit Greenhills Manila, a new hotel set to open in 2026 at the top of San Juan City’s tallest skyscraper.

Located in Primex Tower, a 50-storey mixed-use development in Metro Manila, the hotel will occupy the top 10 floors, offering guests elevated views and a refined urban experience.

This new addition marks a major milestone for Dusit International as it continues to strengthen its footprint in the Philippines, already the brand’s second-largest market outside Thailand. Developed in partnership with Primex Realty Corporation, Dusit Greenhills Manila is positioned to deliver Thai-inspired hospitality alongside luxury amenities designed for both business and leisure travelers.

Primex Tower is situated in an affluent residential district with convenient access to Greenhills Mall, a popular shopping and dining destination. The hotel’s strategic location is just 45 minutes by car from Manila International Airport, enhancing its appeal for international visitors, corporate travelers, and locals seeking a high-end urban retreat.

The property will feature 200 elegantly designed guest rooms, an all-day dining restaurant, and Benjarong—Dusit’s signature Thai restaurant known for its award-winning cuisine. Guests will also be able to enjoy a rooftop bar with sweeping skyline views, a rooftop swimming pool, a fully equipped gym, and a ballroom with floor-to-ceiling windows offering panoramic cityscapes. Several meeting rooms will accommodate business functions and social events.

Gilles Cretallaz, Chief Operating Officer of Dusit International, noted that this project reinforces the group’s commitment to the Philippine market. He emphasized the importance of combining location, lifestyle, and cultural identity to deliver world-class guest experiences. With nine additional properties planned in the country over the next five years, Dusit is clearly investing in long-term growth in the region.

Primex Realty Corporation’s Executive Vice President and Director, Karlvin Ernest L Ang, echoed this sentiment, highlighting how the collaboration with Dusit International will bring exceptional value to Primex Tower. The combination of Thai luxury and the architectural prominence of the tower aims to create a standout destination in San Juan City.

With this new signing, Dusit International continues to expand its global portfolio. The company currently operates 296 properties in 18 countries, including 57 hotels and resorts under Dusit Hotels and Resorts and 239 luxury villas under its Elite Havens brand. In the Philippines, its active properties include Dusit Thani Manila, Dusit Thani Mactan Cebu Resort, Dusit Thani Residence Davao, dusitD2 Davao, and Dusit Thani Lubi Plantation Resort.

Dusit Greenhills Manila will blend contemporary design with traditional Thai hospitality to offer an experience that is both luxurious and culturally grounded. The brand’s continued expansion in the Philippines highlights its confidence in the country’s tourism and business potential, as well as its intention to meet the growing demand for upscale accommodations in emerging urban centers.

Once completed, the new hotel will stand as a symbol of Dusit’s evolving presence in Southeast Asia—bringing elegance, convenience, and a touch of Thailand to the heart of Metro Manila.
