Set to open its doors in late spring 2022, Eastwind Lake Placid is a year-round, boutique retreat in the heart of the Adirondacks, ideal for elemental getaways and gatherings close to lively Main Street.
Moments away from the bustling downtown, authentic connections to nature will thrive through 26 designer-curated accommodations including luxury cabins and one standalone two-bedroom residence with vintage Scandinavian design and postmodern inspiration.
Previously a 1950s motor inn, the second Eastwind property from founders Bjorn Boyer, Julija Stoliarova, and Dan Cipriani, will offer easy access to one of the largest protected parklands in the United States.
Occupying five buildings on 2.8 acres of land along the Chubb River, Eastwind Lake Placid will feature an array of indoor and outdoor experiences geared at discerning design and outdoor enthusiasts.
Amenities will include a pool (set to open in late summer), a vintage library, a spa, a communal fire pit, saunas, bike and skate rentals, and weekly programming such as live music, yoga and pilates classes.
Taking cues from its sister property in the Catskills, Eastwind Lake Placid will feature a refined food and beverage program which guests can enjoy across a variety of different formats: breakfast baskets, bar bites and sandwiches from the reception bar, and seasonal outdoor meals made on an open flame Argentinian grill.
With an estimated Fall opening, a former blacksmith shop turned bar and lounge will offer intimate eating and drinking experiences, which can be booked by individual guests or reserved exclusively for private dining.
