Hilton Expands European Footprint with Canopy by Hilton Warsaw

Hilton, the renowned global hotel chain, has taken a significant step in expanding its European footprint. In a recent announcement, Hilton confirmed its franchise agreement with TFG Hotels to establish the Canopy by Hilton Warsaw.

This development is set to be Hilton’s inaugural lifestyle hotel in Poland, with its doors expected to open in 2025.

The Canopy by Hilton Warsaw will feature 170 guest rooms, aligning itself with Hilton’s recent Canopy openings in prominent European cities such as Cannes, Madrid, London, and Paris. TFG Hotels will oversee the management of this new establishment.

He highlighted the potential of cities like Krakow, Warsaw, and Wrocław as ideal locations for Hilton’s top-tier brands. Fitzgibbon also emphasized Hilton’s vision for its lifestyle brands in Europe, citing the Canopy by Hilton Warsaw as a continuation of their strategy to establish locally-inspired hotels in cities like Reykjavik, Zagreb, and Cannes.

Anna Fijalkowska of TFG Hotels shared the excitement, stating that the collaboration with Hilton to introduce the Canopy brand to Warsaw is thrilling. She emphasized Warsaw’s significance as a commercial hub in the Central and Eastern European region and its rich cultural and historical backdrop. With an investment of approximately 30 million Euros, Fijalkowska is confident that the new hotel will be a top pick for both tourists and locals.
