Hyatt Place Florence/Downtown, The First Hyatt-branded Hotel In Historic Florence Opens

Hyatt Hotels Corporation announced Hyatt Place Florence/Downtown, the first Hyatt-branded hotel in historic Florence, South Carolina is officially open.

The new hotel features the Hyatt Place brand’s intuitive design, casual atmosphere and practical amenities, such as free Wi-Fi and 24-hour food offerings. This hotel is owned by East Evans Hospitality LLC, was developed by Springbridge Development and is managed by Raines Hospitality.                

Guests staying at Hyatt Place Florence/Downtown can enjoy close proximity to a number of companies, universities and arts, entertainment and sporting venues, including McLeod Health, Carolinas Hospital, Otis Elevator, Francis Marion University, Florence Museum, FMU Performing Arts Center, Florence Little Theater, Magnolia Mall, Florence Soccer Complex, and Freedom Florence Recreation Complex. Additionally, the hotel is minutes from the Florence Regional Airport and I-95, and is just 10 minutes from the Florence Center and I-20. There are several local restaurants within walking distance, including King Jefe, Dolce Vita Cafe, Thai House II, Wholly Smokin’, Soulé Cafe, El Agave, Town Hall, Top Hat Teas, and Victors. For beverages and entertainment, stroll down to the Dispensary or Local Motive Brewing Company.
