IHG Hotels & Resorts (IHG) is bringing its distinctive Hotel Indigo brand to the Balearic Islands for the first time with the opening of Hotel Indigo Menorca.
Set to open in summer 2026, the hotel marks IHG’s eighth open and pipeline Hotel Indigo property in Spain – contributing to the growth of its Luxury & Lifestyle portfolio in the market. The hotel presents a significant opportunity for IHG to strengthen its foothold in the Balearic Islands, complementing its existing Mallorca properties – Kimpton Aysla Mallorca and the recently signed Vignette Collection Mallorca, as well as Six Senses Ibiza.
The 75-key conversion property will be a haven for travellers seeking a unique and locally inspired experience. The signing of Hotel Indigo Menorca strengthens IHG’s presence in Spain, where it operates 57* hotels and has another 15* in development. The property also joins a growing portfolio of Hotel Indigo properties in Spain, with four open and a further three in development.
