JW Marriott, a part of the Marriott Bonvoy’s portfolio of 31 distinguished hotel brands, has made a significant foray into Texas’s vibrant cultural scene with the launch of JW Marriott Dallas Arts District.
Nestled within walking distance of various art and culture hubs like the Dallas Museum of Art, Nasher Sculpture Center, Meyerson Symphony Center, and the Winspear Opera House, this debut marks JW Marriott’s first-ever property in Dallas.
Dallas, known for having the largest contiguous urban arts district in the United States, provides a fitting backdrop for this hotel, which epitomizes the marriage of fine art and mindful luxury. JW Marriott Dallas Arts District embodies this unique blend through its architectural elements, design features, dining experiences, and amenities, all the while embodying the brand’s principles of prioritizing the mind, body, and soul.
“We are excited to bring JW Marriott’s legacy of extraordinary hospitality, thoughtful design, and enriching experiences to the Dallas Arts District,” said Bruce Rohr, Global Brand Leader, JW Marriott. He further emphasized that the new hotel would provide guests with myriad ways to fully engage with the enriching surroundings and discover moments of inspiration and mindfulness during their stay.
The hotel’s design encapsulates various artistic themes integral to the growth and evolution of Dallas. It showcases more than 20 original artworks in different mediums that were commissioned specifically for the public areas of the hotel. The renowned hospitality design giants HKS Inc. and Looney Associates have collaborated to create the hotel’s sleek architecture and interior design, including 267 rooms, three restaurants, two lobby spaces, and over 20,000 square feet of flexible meeting space.
The culinary experience at JW Marriott Dallas Arts District is no less impressive, with three unique dining venues, each with its own connection to the surrounding artistic community. Margaret’s, a ranch-to-table restaurant, Vincent’s Sky Lounge, a sensuous mid-air lounge with wrap-around views, and 800 North, a street-level cocktail lounge, offer a blend of locally sourced ingredients, creative presentations, and thematic links to the local culture.
The hotel’s commitment to wellness and mindfulness is evident in its more than 20,000 square feet of flexible event and function space. Unique to the JW Marriott brand, the Pearl Room, a customizable all-white room with hardwood flooring, offers a perfect setting for brainstorming and strategic sessions.
“Our expert associates look forward with great anticipation to welcoming our guests and surpassing their expectations for warm, inviting luxury in this cultural hub neighborhood,” said Mike Culver, General Manager.
The combination of beautiful design, artwork, breathtaking views, and attentive service makes JW Marriott Dallas Arts District a must-visit destination for travelers seeking a blend of art, culture, and luxury.
