Ennismore, in collaboration with Shivom LLC, is set to expand its footprint in Los Angeles with the announcement of Mama Shelter Downtown LA, slated to open its doors in 2026.
This move comes on the heels of the success of Mama Shelter LA in Hollywood, which began operations in May 2015.
In a significant addition to the list of new hotels in Los Angeles, the revamped Mart South Building in Downtown LA will house the new establishment. With a total of 149 rooms, including four opulent suites, Mama Shelter Downtown LA is poised to offer guests its signature eclectic and vibrant ambiance. The hotel’s amenities will include three F&B outlets, a fitness center, and parking facilities, all set against the backdrop of Mama Shelter’s iconic interior designs and events.
Located in the heart of LA’s Fashion District, the hotel promises easy access to over 4,000 independent retailers and a diverse range of dining venues. It’s also a stone’s throw away from landmarks like the California Market Center (CMC), Santee Alley, and the Los Angeles Flower District.
