In June 2024, Mama Shelter will enhance the vibrant Côte d’Azur with the opening of its newest hotel in Nice, adding a stylish dimension to this renowned artistic and epicurean city.
The hotel will feature 102 rooms, a picturesque rooftop with a pool, bar, and pizza counter, alongside a full-service restaurant, two workshops, two studios, and a breakroom.
This launch marks the 11th Mama Shelter property in France and expands its global presence to 18 locations.

Mama’s second address on the French Riviera, situated in the Riquier district, is just a stone’s throw from Nice’s Old Port and close to the historic center.
The Riquier district is an area teeming with life and cultural diversity, making it an ideal spot for travelers seeking both relaxation and adventure.
Located at 21 Boulevard de Riquier is a location that perfectly captures the essence of this vibrant city.
Boulevard de Riquier itself is conveniently located near some of Nice’s most iconic attractions. It’s just a short walk from the beautiful Old Port (Vieux Port), where colorful boats bob in the harbor against a backdrop of quaint terraced cafés and bustling seafood restaurants. Mama Shelter Nice has two dining outlets; one in the ground floor and another one in the rooftop. At the ground floor restaurant, you can choose between Mediterranean cuisine or Mama’s signature dishes.
The rooftop has its own menu that includes Mediterranean finger food, pizzas al taglio and refreshing cocktails and drinks of all kinds! And the pool is just a few steps away.
The rooftop restaurant features specialties cooked on a Big Green Egg barbecue and a Josper charcoal oven, providing guests with a flavorful dining experience. Additionally, freshly baked pizzas are available alongside chilled rosé, perfect for enjoying under the sun.
