Feel-good Comfort
A city trip to Ingolstadt is always worthwhile; most people first associate the second-largest city in Upper Bavaria with the automotive industry, while this town on the Danube has much more to offer. The new Maritim Hotel Ingolstadt is situated in the direct vicinity of the New Castle with the main collection of the Bavarian Army Museum and the Audi Academy. You can reach the historic Old Town by foot. The Kreuztor is quite special, as an Ingolstadt landmark and one of the most beautiful city gates in Germany. Visitors to the city will also find a real jewel of Bavarian rococco, the Maria de Victoria Asam Church. Yet the Ingolstadt Cathedral is just as impressive. According to the legend, 3800 logs were processed for its enormous timber framing. On special occasions, you can climb the south tower and enjoy the view of the city from the Liebfrauenmünster cathedral. The Klenzepark, a favourite of both Ingolstadt inhabitants as well as tourists, is situated on the south bank of the Danube. The former grounds of the horticultural show feature a magnificent waterfront promenade, a waterfront stage for open-air performances and concerts, an adventure-filled rainbow playground for children and a rose garden. The Reduit Tilly, the core component of the Landfestung Ingolstadt fort, is also integrated into the park.
Thanks to its central location, the new Maritim Hotel and Congress Centre Ingolstadt offers business travellers and city hoppers plenty of feel-good comfort. After a strenuous day, guests can unwind in the spacious relaxation area with swimming pool, sauna and massage offer or in the fitness room featuring treadmill, cross-trainer, weight bench, exercise bike and pulley machine.
A convenient arrival and departure is guaranteed; the main train station is only 4 km away, the motorway is a 5-minute drive away, and the Hotel and Congress Centre offers plenty of parking space as well as E-charging stations.
