New Orlando Hotel Brings Two IHG Brands Together Near Epic Universe

IHG Hotels & Resorts has opened a new dual branded hotel on Orlando Universal Boulevard, bringing together EVEN Hotel Orlando Universal Blvd by IHG and Staybridge Suites Orlando Universal Blvd by IHG under one roof. The 288 room property is located close to Universal Orlando Resort, including the new Epic Universe theme park, and the Orange County Convention Center, making it suitable for both leisure and business travellers.

Developed in partnership with Daiwa House Group, the hotel combines two distinct accommodation concepts in a single location. The opening marks another step in IHG’s expansion in Orlando, one of the busiest tourism and convention destinations in the United States.

The new development features 120 guest rooms under the EVEN Hotel brand and 168 suites under Staybridge Suites. Guests staying at either hotel have access to a shared range of facilities, including a 1,500 sq. ft. Athletic Studio, a resort style outdoor pool, a 24 hour marketplace, a game room, guest laundry facilities, storage units for extended stay visitors, and an outdoor courtyard with barbecue grills and pet walking areas.

The property has been designed to appeal to travellers with different needs while allowing them to enjoy the same shared amenities. Families visiting Orlando’s famous attractions, business travellers attending events at the nearby convention centre and guests planning longer stays can all choose the accommodation style that best suits their trip.

Jen Gribble, Senior Vice President, Global Marketing, Premium, Essentials and Suites Brands at IHG Hotels & Resorts, said: “Today’s travelers are looking for stays that feel more flexible, more personalized and more aligned with how they want to live, work and recharge. The opening of EVEN Hotel and Staybridge Suites Orlando Universal Blvd brings two powerful brands together in a way that delivers exactly that, giving guests the freedom to choose a stay that fits their needs.”

The EVEN Hotel focuses on wellness and restorative travel. Each guest room includes premium bedding, cooling linens and spa inspired showers designed to promote comfort and recovery after a day of sightseeing or meetings.

Guests can also enjoy fresh food and drinks throughout the day at EVEN Kitchen & Bar, with options ranging from morning coffee and breakfast to evening cocktails and dinner. Daily wellness inspired touches, including evening tea service and calming shared spaces, are intended to help travellers relax during their stay.

Staybridge Suites offers a different experience aimed at guests seeking the comforts of home. Its studio and one bedroom suites feature fully equipped kitchens, separate living areas and accommodation options with either king or two queen beds, making them suitable for families and longer visits.

Guests staying at Staybridge Suites receive a complimentary breakfast buffet each morning. On selected evenings, they are also invited to the Staybridge Suites Social, where light bites, beer and wine are served in an informal setting designed to encourage guests to meet and unwind.

Outdoor fire pits and grilling areas further extend the communal spaces, while Staybridge Suites guests also have access to menu items served at the EVEN Kitchen & Bar. The combination of shared amenities and two different hotel concepts allows visitors to enjoy flexibility without leaving the property.

A Project Manager at Daiwa House Group said: “Orlando is a destination that invites both exploration and relaxation, and this property is designed to support both. With stays designed to support working, unwinding or hosting, guests can experience the city with a level of flexibility and comfort that feels tailored to how they travel.”

The opening comes as Orlando continues to attract growing numbers of visitors drawn by major theme parks, international conventions and expanding tourism infrastructure. The nearby Epic Universe development is expected to generate additional demand for accommodation, while the Orange County Convention Center remains one of the largest convention venues in the United States.

By combining wellness focused hospitality with extended stay accommodation, the new Orlando hotel offers travellers two distinct experiences in one location. IHG says the concept is designed to provide greater flexibility while meeting the changing expectations of modern guests who increasingly combine business, leisure and longer stays in a single trip.
