Hyatt Hotels Corporation has announced the opening of Hotel La Compañía del Valle, an art and wellness-focused retreat nestled in El Valle de Anton, Panama.
Scheduled to open in early 2025, this serene escape marks the first internationally branded hotel in the region’s lush highlands.
Part of The Unbound Collection by Hyatt, the property complements its sister hotel, Hotel La Compañía, located in Casco Antiguo, offering a seamless blend of art, wellness, and nature.
Set in the crater of an extinct volcano, El Valle de Anton is renowned for its crisp mountain air, scenic hikes, and rich biodiversity. Guests of Hotel La Compañía del Valle will enjoy luxurious accommodations in a Tuscan-inspired design, with 70 spacious rooms and suites boasting balconies and terraces overlooking the mountains and gardens.
A highlight of the property is its one-of-a-kind sculpture park, symbolizing the five elements—fire, water, earth, metal, and wood—featuring 200 art pieces thoughtfully placed throughout the hotel’s gardens and public areas. The Elysium Spa offers natural healing experiences, including Roman baths, chocolate and wine therapies, and a saltwater pool with views of La India Dormida, a mountain shaped like a sleeping woman.
