Carolyn Izzo Integrated Communications (CIIC PR), a full-service, award-winning public relations agency specializing in the travel and tourism, food and beverage and lifestyle industries, announced that Amy Sedeño was promoted to Vice President of the agency.
Sedeño, who is also a partner at the agency, recently celebrated her sixth anniversary with CIIC, and during her time at the agency, she has developed unparalleled award-winning campaigns, partnerships and business initiatives that have grown company revenues and continue to position CIIC as a top boutique PR firm in the US and abroad.
Amy spearheaded the launch of CIIC’s Miami headquarters in 2015 to further expand the agency’s footprint in Florida, the Caribbean, Mexico and Latin America. She has served as the company spokesperson for industry conferences and events and has been published by notable tourism and public relations trade outlets in the U.S. and internationally. Additionally, Amy is a certified sommelier, is an educator for the Florida Wine Academy, and holds the WSET 3, FWS and SWS certifications.
“I have been honored to witness Amy’s continued growth, both professionally and personally, over the past six years,” said CIIC Founder and CEO Carolyn Izzo-Feldman.
“Amy brings her creativity and business acumen to the task daily, challenging herself and our team to perform at the highest professional level to garner exceptional results for our clients while focusing on personal growth and cultural awareness. She has been a crucial part of our agency’s success and this well-deserved promotion is the logical next step as she furthers her leadership role.”
In her new role as Vice President, Sedeño will manage CIIC’s vast public relations, marketing, social media and digital services, providing expert client counsel and cultivating creative campaigns across the agency’s diverse account base in the US, Mexico, the Caribbean and Latin America. She will continue to work closely with the agency’s Founder to lead new business development, talent recruitment and agency partnerships.
“Carolyn has created such a unique company culture over the past 25 years, staying true to her core values of providing principal-led service to our clients and extending professional growth opportunities for our team members – all attributes that resonate with me and inspire my work daily,” said Sedeño.
“I am thrilled to be part of this incredible team of women and to continue my professional career as a valued leader and trusted partner here at CIIC.”
