Dream Hotel Group announced the appointment of Leiya Cohen as Complex General Manager, overseeing the day-to-day management and operations of two iconic Dream Hotel Group properties in New York City – Dream Midtown and The Time New York by Dream Hotel Group, effective immediately.

With more than a decade of experience in the hospitality industry, Leiya Cohen’s career spans several senior management positions, including key roles at Millennium Premier New York Times Square, formerly known as The Premier, and The London New York City, now known as the Conrad New York Midtown, as well as positions at fine dining restaurants Gordon Ramsay and MEGU.
In 2014, Cohen joined the Dream Hotel Group family as Director of Front Office at The Time New York hotel on W. 49th Street and Broadway and was promoted to Hotel Manager shortly thereafter, where she oversaw the comprehensive redesign of its guest rooms by Rockwell Group, as well as the additions of LeGrande cocktail lounge and Serafina restaurant.
In 2019, Cohen was appointed General Manager at Dream Midtown, where she was responsible for all aspects of hotel management and operations at the Dream brand’s debut location on the corner of W. 55th Street and Broadway, including front of house, engineering and security departments, recruitment, staff development, budget management, and ensuring guest satisfaction.
