Experienced hoteliers Sam Selvi and Charles Williams are recruited to lead the new executive team at the Hyatt Centric Old Town Alexandria – one of Washington D.C.’s newest, boutique lifestyle hotels that quietly opened during COVID.
Selvi led Washington D.C.’s ARC HOTEL as General Manager for seven months before assuming his position in Old Town Alexandria, while Williams joined the team as Director of Sales and Marketing following his extensive experience with prolific hotel groups including Mandarin Oriental, Four Seasons, and Ritz-Carlton.
Selvi shares, “Along with the excitement of leading one of Alexandria’s newest hotels, I am thrilled to embark on this journey alongside Williams. Together, we will bring a new energy to the hotel to create authentic Alexandria experiences for every guest. With Martha’s letter to George Washington wallpapered in guest rooms and our property’s prime location on King Street, guests are seamlessly immersed in Alexandria’s rich history and vibrant culture in every aspect of their stay.”
