Marco Polo Hotels has appointed Mr. Kurt Macher as Group Director – Projects.
An Austrian, Kurt brings with him a wealth of experience in the hospitality industry, having held a number of managerial positions with hotel groups such as Four Seasons and The Peninsula Group.
Prior to joining Marco Polo Hotels, Kurt was Resident Manager of The Pan Pacific, Marina Square in Singapore, its flagship property, for the past two years.
Kurt will work hand in hand with Operations and Technical Services and take an active role in assisting with the planning and execution of the Group’s upcoming Marco Polo and Niccolo projects. At the same time, he will be instrumental in supporting the enhancement of brand standards in current operations.
