The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Waikiki Beach announced the appointment of Douglas Chang as General Manager of the property.
Chang is a seasoned leader with 35 years of luxury hospitality experience and will direct a team of ladies and gentlemen to manage the property and deliver legendary Ritz-Carlton service to residence owners and their guests.
Most recently, Chang served as General Manager of The Ritz-Carlton, St. Louis. Prior to this, he was General Manager of The Ritz-Carlton Club and Residences, Kapalua Bay, a luxury residential property that included whole ownership and fractional-ownership homes. His hospitality experience in the Hawaiian Islands also includes leadership positions at other luxury resort properties.
Born and raised on Oahu, Chang is a past board member, chair and vice chair of the Hawaii Tourism Authority (HTA) and has served on the board of the Hawaii Hotel & Lodging Association and the Maui Hotel & Lodging Association.
