Steigenberger Hotels & Resorts, a Deutsche Hospitality brand, announced two new appointments.
Thomas Swieca takes over the position of General Manager at the Steigenberger Inselhotel Konstanz on 15 October. He succeeds Peter Martin, who takes over as General Manager at the Steigenberger Hotel Bad Neuenahr on 21 October.
Peter Martin has already held a number of leadership roles at Steigenberger Hotels AG during a period of more than 17 years. His most recent position was General Manager of the Steigenberger Inselhotel in Konstanz. The Steigenberger Hotel Bad Neuenahr boasts 216 high-end rooms and suites. It has been headed up on an interim basis over the past eighteen months by Verena Zlomke, whom Mr. Martin will now replace.

“He will now be using his leadership qualities and extensive knowledge of the sector to benefit the Steigenberger Hotel Bad Neuenahr. Ms. Zlomke has guided the Steigenberger Hotel Bad Neuenahr through the corona pandemic in an exemplary fashion. We would like to thank her for the energy and commitment she has shown and are delighted that she will remain part of the hotel’s great team by taking on the role of Deputy Director.”
Thomas Swieca will succeed Peter Martin as General Manager of the Steigenberger Inselhotel Konstanz with effect from 15 October. Mr. Swieca is a father of two who joins us from the Radisson Hotel Group, where he last acted as Cluster General Manager in Vilnius. His career also includes management stints at the Radisson Blu Daugava Hotel in Riga, the Radisson Collection Old Mill in Belgrade, the Radisson Blu Hotel and Resort in Cesme, Turkey, the Radisson Blu Resort in El Quseir, Egypt, and the Radisson Blu Media Harbour Hotel in Duesseldorf.
