Kürşad Koçak who has been working as Havaş Ground Handling Co. General Manager, has been appointed as TAV Airports Holding Chief Operating Officer (COO), as of July 1st.
He will be responsible for developing aviation operations of the 15 airports in TAV’s portfolio.
Sırrı Mete Erna, currently working as Havaş Deputy General Manager – will be acting as General Manager. The Sales and Marketing department at Havaş will be led by Engin İdemen, Sales and Marketing Coordinator.
Kürşad Koçak – COO, TAV Airports Holding
Graduated from Ankara University in 1990, Kürşad Koçak began his career in the sector in 1996. After he joined Havaş family in 1997, Koçak had worked at executive positions at Istanbul, Dalaman, Trabzon and Antalya airports. Besides working as the General Manager of Cyprus Airport Services (CAS), Koçak was assigned as Deputy General Manager of Havaş in 2009. Having assigned as the General Manager of Havaş since 2015, Koçak has been appointed to work as the Chief Operations Officer (COO) of TAV Airports Holding as from July 1st, 2020. Moreover, Koçak maintains an active role at Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Turkish Civil Aviation Assembly and Turkish Private Aviation Enterprises Association (TOSHID).
Mete Erna –General Manager, Havaş
Being a graduate of and having his post-graduate in Istanbul University Political Sciences Faculty International Relations Department, S. Mete Erna began his professional life in aviation industry in 1995 at Havaş. Undertaking several positions at various airline and ground handling services companies in Turkey, and abroad throughout his career, Erna rejoined Havaş family in 2014 and continued working on sales, marketing and business development operations. S. Mete Erna had been working as the Deputy General Manager in charge of Sales and Marketing since October 2017.
