Güçlü Batkın is appointed as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of TAV Operation Services, as of January 1st. He has previously taken various management roles at TAV Airports since 2005.
A subsidiary of TAV Airports, TAV OS develops and manages the products and services that make up the non-aviation revenues of the group. The company is active in more than 20 countries, with 1100 employees. Its brand portfolio includes Primeclass, Hello Sky, TAV Passport and LoungeMe, among others.
Guclu Batkın graduated from the University of Maryland as a double major in International Business and Marketing. He started his professional career in Global Securities and later continued in PwC until when he joined TAV in 2005. He held various positions within the group including the General Secretary of TAV Georgia, Country Coordinator of TAV Latvia and Business Development Coordinator of the Holding prior to his tenure as the Sales and Marketing Deputy GM of HAVAŞ, the ground handling company of the group, between 2012 and 2017. He was then appointed as the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) of TAV while he also served as TAV Tunisie Country Director since 2015. An alumni of Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School, Batkın is the Vice President of the Outbound Investments Business Council at the Foreign Economic Relations Board of Turkey (DEIK). Batkın is married with two children.
