A City of Wine, Baths, and Beauty—And Now Just a Flight Away

easyJet has just unlocked a brand-new destination for curious travelers seeking culture, charm, and something off the usual tourist track.

The Georgian capital, Tbilisi, is now connected to London Luton Airport, thanks to the airline’s newly launched direct service that made its inaugural flight on April 3.

The first departure took off at 12:25 p.m. and is set to arrive in Georgia at 8:25 p.m. local time. Operating twice a week—on Tuesdays and Saturdays—this new route is already generating buzz among travelers looking for a fresh city break option packed with character, culinary delights, and historic appeal.

From London to a Lesser-Known Gem

easyJet’s latest expansion not only strengthens its UK network but also opens the door to a capital that’s been quietly waiting to be discovered. With its mix of atmospheric Old Town streets, iconic sulphur baths, and thriving art and food scenes, Tbilisi offers a truly unique experience. The airline has also launched flights to the city from Geneva and Milan Malpensa this year.

To support its growing network, easyJet has added another Airbus A320 to its Luton base, increasing the local fleet to 25 aircraft. The airline now connects London Luton to 74 destinations across Europe and North Africa and has flown more than 124 million passengers from the airport since it launched nearly three decades ago.

Tbilisi

Travelers arriving in Georgia will be met with a city that blends centuries of history with modern creativity. Local restaurants serve up hearty Georgian cuisine and wines that trace their origins back thousands of years, while colorful street art and cozy cafes line cobblestone alleyways. It’s a place where traditions live alongside trendsetting new spots, all at a price that’s refreshingly affordable.

Ali Gayward, easyJet’s UK Country Manager, celebrated the new launch as a major addition to the airline’s route map, highlighting the importance of giving customers more choices, direct access, and great value for summer getaways.

Whether it’s for a weekend escape or a longer adventure through the Caucasus region, this new flight makes it easier than ever to plan an unforgettable journey. easyJet’s continued presence at Luton—including links to cities like Paris, Amsterdam, and leisure hotspots in Turkey, Spain, and Egypt—makes it a go-to choice for travelers seeking reliability and convenience.

With this new route, easyJet invites passengers to experience a place filled with natural beauty, rich history, and endless discovery. If you’ve been searching for a destination that feels fresh and full of stories, this flight might be your next ticket to something extraordinary.
