In a move to give holidaymakers more options for winter getaways, easyJet announced that it is launching four new winter routes from three UK airports. The routes are set to begin in December 2023 and January 2024, adding to the airline’s already expansive list of destinations.
Two routes from London Stansted to Geneva and Zurich will commence on December 16 and operate twice a week. These new Swiss routes are perfect for winter sports enthusiasts looking to hit the slopes.
In addition, a new route from London Southend to Grenoble, France will begin on January 14, operating once a week. Situated in the French Alps, Grenoble offers tourists cable car rides to the summit of La Bastille hill.
For those looking to explore Austria, easyJet is also introducing a new route from Birmingham to Salzburg starting January 13, 2024, which will operate once a week. This new addition comes as part of easyJet’s new base opening in Birmingham in March 2024, increasing its network to 29 routes from the city.
Ali Gayward, easyJet’s UK Country Manager, said, “We’re delighted to be launching even more new routes and holidays from our airports across the UK to a range of fantastic destinations. We can’t wait to welcome more customers on board.”
In conjunction with these route expansions, easyJet holidays, the UK’s fastest-growing tour operator, is also offering new value package holidays to Geneva, Zurich, and Salzburg. Prices for these holiday packages start from as low as £324 per person and include 23 kg of luggage.
Those interested can book these new routes and packages on easyJet’s website and mobile app, with fares starting from just £24.99.
