Emirates Adds Flights to Shenzhen, Da Nang & Siem Reap

Emirates is expanding its global route network with the addition of three new destinations in China, Vietnam, and Cambodia.

The airline will introduce daily non-stop flights to Shenzhen from July 1, 2025, along with four weekly flights to Da Nang and three weekly services to Siem Reap starting in June.

These new routes will enhance connectivity across East Asia, further solidifying Emirates’ position as the largest non-Asian airline operating in the region.

With these new additions, Emirates will offer 269 flights per week from Dubai to 24 destinations across East Asia. Shenzhen becomes the airline’s fourth gateway into China, while Da Nang is its third destination in Vietnam, and Siem Reap marks its second point in Cambodia.

Expanding to Shenzhen – A Major Business & Tech Hub

Emirates is making history by becoming the first Middle Eastern airline to operate a daily flight to Shenzhen, a leading global technology hub known as China’s Silicon Valley. This new route will support business and economic exchanges between Shenzhen and major global markets.

The Dubai-Shenzhen flight (EK328) will depart daily at 10:05 AM, arriving in Shenzhen at 10:00 PM. The return flight, EK329, will leave Shenzhen at 11:55 PM and land in Dubai at 3:40 AM the next day.

Shenzhen is also the first city in China to be served by Emirates’ retrofitted Boeing 777-300ER, featuring the airline’s new Business Class seats and Premium Economy cabins. This four-class aircraft will offer:

  • 8 private First Class suites
  • 40 lie-flat Business Class seats
  • 24 Premium Economy seats
  • 260 spacious Economy Class seats

The addition of Shenzhen is expected to strengthen UAE-China trade and cargo operations, as the city plays a key role in global technology and e-commerce exports. Emirates SkyCargo will handle 10 tonnes of cargo per flight, supporting electronics, high-tech devices, and other specialized shipments.

Emirates is also expanding in Southeast Asia with new flights to Da Nang and Siem Reap, both via Bangkok.

Da Nang – A Strategic Addition to Emirates’ Vietnam Network

As Vietnam’s third-largest city, Da Nang is a rising economic and tourism hub, attracting both business and leisure travelers. The new four-times-weekly flight (EK370) will operate on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays with a Boeing 777.

The flight schedule ensures smooth connections to major European and US cities, including London, Paris, Amsterdam, Manchester, Milan, and Rome.

Siem Reap – Gateway to Angkor Wat & Cultural Tourism

Siem Reap, home to Cambodia’s UNESCO-listed Angkor Wat, is one of the most sought-after travel destinations in Southeast Asia. Emirates’ three-weekly flights (EK370) will operate on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, with seamless connections for travelers from France, UK, Spain, Germany, Portugal, and Russia.

The Siem Reap route will be operated by the Boeing 777-300ER, featuring 35 lie-flat Business Class seats and 386 spacious Economy Class seats.

Enhanced Connectivity & Premium Travel Experience

Emirates customers traveling to these new destinations will experience the airline’s renowned in-flight services, including:

✔ Award-winning ICE entertainment system with over 6,500 channels in Mandarin, Cantonese, Khmer, and Vietnamese
✔ Regionally inspired cuisine & premium beverages in all cabin classes
✔ Comfortable layovers in Bangkok, with access to Emirates’ newly expanded premium lounge

Expanding Multi-City Travel Options

Passengers looking for multi-city travel options can take advantage of Emirates’ codeshare agreements and interline partnerships, which provide access to an extensive range of seamless connections. Travelers can now combine destinations like Dubai, Bangkok, Vietnam, and Cambodia into a single, well-planned itinerary.

Additionally, Emirates Holidays offers customizable multi-destination packages, blending Dubai’s modern attractions with the scenic landscapes of Thailand, Cambodia, and Vietnam.

A Growing Presence in Asia

With the addition of Shenzhen, Da Nang, and Siem Reap, Emirates is further reinforcing its commitment to connecting travelers with Asia’s fastest-growing markets. The airline continues to expand its influence in the region, ensuring business travelers, tourists, and cargo customers have access to an extensive and efficient flight network.
