Emirates’ Largest Lounge in Europe Reopens, New Lounge at Paris CDG

Passengers traveling through Munich Airport can now enjoy the newly renovated Emirates Lounge, which has reopened following a six-week refurbishment.

The exclusive facility, spanning an impressive 965 square meters, has undergone a complete transformation, featuring luxurious cream leather seating, elegant carpeting, captivating murals, and upgraded kitchen amenities. With 196 seats in total, the Emirates Lounge at Munich Airport is not only the largest lounge of a foreign airline at the airport but also the airline’s largest lounge facility in continental Europe.

The Emirates Lounge is a haven for passengers seeking comfort and relaxation before their flights. Open daily, the lounge welcomes guests four hours prior to departure and offers an array of amenities to enhance the travel experience. Passengers can indulge in a wide range of hot and cold meals prepared by the renowned caterer Do & Co, with an emphasis on offering a variety of vegan options to cater to diverse dietary preferences. In addition, passengers can enjoy a complimentary full bar service, ensuring they have the opportunity to unwind and savor their pre-flight moments. For those in need of refreshing, private shower facilities are available for use.

Originally opened in 2006, the Emirates Lounge at Munich Airport was the airline’s first dedicated lounge in Germany. Recognizing the increasing demand and popularity amongst passengers, the lounge was expanded by nearly 300 square meters in 2012 to accommodate the growing number of travelers. Currently, Emirates operates two daily non-stop flights between Munich and Dubai, providing convenient options for passengers traveling between the two cities.

With the completion of the refurbishment, the Emirates Lounge at Munich Airport sets a new standard for luxury and comfort, ensuring that passengers have a memorable experience from the moment they enter the lounge until they board their flight. The carefully curated design, complemented by top-notch amenities and culinary offerings, reflects Emirates’ commitment to delivering the highest level of service to its valued customers.

New Luxurious Lounge Experience for Premium Customers at Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport

Emirates, in partnership with Extime, has secured an exclusive lounge space in Terminal 1 of Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG) to cater to its premium travellers during the ongoing renovation of Terminal 2.

Emirates is one of the few airlines to have a dedicated lounge in Terminal 1, showcasing its commitment to providing top-notch services to its customers. The newly established lounge boasts a luxurious and private atmosphere, providing a total of 155 seats, both indoor and outdoor areas, and an exceptional selection of food and beverages. With an average of 190 guests per day, this dedicated lounge aims to ensure the utmost comfort and satisfaction of Emirates’ customers until flight operations transition to Terminal 2 in July 2024, when a brand new Emirates Lounge will be unveiled.

Passengers can indulge in a wide range of gastronomic delights throughout the day, including popular French dishes like Croque-monsieur, crêpes, and French financier, alongside international delicacies such as salmon tikka, fish tajin, butter chicken, and beef stroganoff. The lounge is staffed by experienced professionals from Haute Hospitalite, guaranteeing high-quality service.

Designed with a bright and airy bistro ambiance, the lounge features elegant wood and leather accents against a backdrop of warm white tones, green topiary, and contemporary light fixtures. Guests can also enjoy refreshment facilities, showers and washrooms, complimentary Wi-Fi, access to news sources, and a generous buffet from 6am to 9:30pm daily. Additionally, the lounge is fully accessible to people with reduced mobility, ensuring inclusivity for all passengers.

The exclusive lounge space in Terminal 1 underscores Emirates’ ongoing commitment to delivering exceptional experiences to their premium travellers and frequent flyers. It also solidifies the strong partnership between Emirates and the Paris Charles de Gaulle airport community. Their collaboration dates back to 1992 when Emirates first launched its Dubai-Paris route. This month, the airline celebrates 32 years of successful operations between the two destinations.

Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport is currently undergoing a comprehensive renovation program, scheduled to be completed by 2024. The objective of this project is to extend and modernize the airport facilities in order to accommodate a larger number of passengers and increase air traffic, aiming to reach a milestone of 80 million passengers per year.

The introduction of this exclusive lounge space signifies Emirates’ dedication to enhancing the travel experience for its premium customers in the evolving landscape of Charles de Gaulle Airport. Passengers can look forward to a distinctive blend of comfort, luxury, and world-class hospitality as they transit through Paris.
