Ethiopian Airlines, Africa’s leading airline by network size, is set to enhance its route portfolio with the introduction of passenger services to Freetown, Sierra Leone.
Starting May 31, 2024, the airline will connect Freetown to Addis Ababa via Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso, with flights scheduled three times a week.
This expansion is a significant addition to Ethiopian Airlines’ extensive network, offering more travel options across Africa. The service aims to connect various African nations more efficiently, facilitating travel for both leisure and business passengers.
The airline will deploy the Boeing 787-800 for this route, known for its eco-friendliness and modern amenities. Passengers can look forward to a comfortable flight experience, complete with spacious seating, personal entertainment options, and onboard Wi-Fi.
Flights to Freetown will depart from Addis Ababa every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. The return flights from Freetown to Addis Ababa are scheduled for Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday, ensuring convenient travel schedules for passengers.
