Air France Dominique Crenn menus

Michelin-Starred French Cuisine Now on Air France’s US Departures

Travelers departing from the United States with Air France can now enjoy an elevated in-flight dining experience, thanks to a new partnership featuring menus designed by triple Michelin-starred French chef Dominique Crenn.

This collaboration, effective from 1 February 2024, showcases Crenn’s innovative and poetic French cuisine, promising passengers a unique gastronomic journey. Available initially from cities like Chicago, Los Angeles, Miami, New York-Newark, San Francisco, and Seattle, the service is set to expand across all Air France’s US destinations during the 2024 spring-summer season.

The introduction of twelve original dishes by Dominique Crenn marks a significant enhancement in the airline’s culinary offerings. Passengers can now savor two signature dishes monthly in each cabin, including a vegetarian option and a fish dish, complementing the existing menu. Highlights in the La Première cabin include lobster with pico de gallo and tea sauce, and a root vegetable mille-feuille with truffle sauce, showcasing Crenn’s culinary genius.

In the Business cabin, options like Californian charbonnier with quinoa and marinière sauce or open ravioli with courgette, tomato, hazelnut, and parmesan sauce are among the delectable offerings. This initiative not only elevates the in-flight dining experience but also aligns with Air France’s commitment to sustainability, offering a pre-selection option to business passengers to reduce food waste.

Dominique Crenn, the only woman in the United States to hold three Michelin stars for her San Francisco-based Atelier Crenn, brings her commitment to sustainable and seasonally inspired French cuisine to Air France. Her collaboration extends the airline’s tradition of partnering with renowned chefs to enhance its culinary offerings, further establishing Air France’s dedication to providing an exceptional in-flight experience.

Air France’s winter schedule boasts an extensive network linking Paris with major US cities, and the addition of Minneapolis and Phoenix in May 2024 will expand its American footprint. The most exclusive La Première cabin, featuring Crenn’s menus, is available on select flights, offering an unparalleled dining experience to passengers.
