Riyadh Air adds Kuala Lumpur, Malaga and Dhaka to its growing list of new routes

Riyadh Air has unveiled two additional destinations to its growing network, opening ticket sales for flights from Riyadh to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and Malaga, Spain.

With the addition of these new routes, the airline is now set to serve 8 destinations, including London, Cairo, Dubai, Jeddah, Madrid and Manchester, before early August.

Having already received five aircraft, and with a sixth arriving shortly, Riyadh Air’s Dreamliner fleet has experienced unprecedented growth since the first aircraft arrived on June 5, increasing connections between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and key global, regional and domestic economic, cultural and tourist centres.

Direct seasonal flights to Malaga, Spain will commence on July 14 and are set to run until September 8, 2026. While year-round flights to Kuala Lumpur will begin on July 30.

Flights between Riyadh and Madrid, the only direct connection between the Saudi and Spanish capitals, will commence on July 17, 2026.  Flights to Manchester will commence on July 23.

Connectivity with Madrid, the home to Riyadh Air’s official football partners Atlético de Madrid and the Riyadh Air Metropolitano stadium, represents a further strengthening of cultural and economic ties between Spain and Saudi Arabia, while serving as an important route for business and tourism and further strengthening capital-to-capital connectivity.

Riyadh Air had commenced new direct daily services to Cairo on June 25, with a second daily service which commenced on June 29.  The airline had also commenced daily flights to Dubai on June 18 and to Jeddah on June 14.

Flights to Dhaka in Bangladesh will start on August 7, 2026.
