SAS Resumes Operations to Beirut for Summer 2025

SAS will restart flights to Beirut this summer, offering up to five weekly departures from Copenhagen and Stockholm starting on June 6.

With improving conditions in the region, these services will enable travelers to visit family and friends.

SAS is pleased to resume operations to Beirut after pausing since October 2023. Lebanon’s capital will be served with up to five weekly flights: three from Copenhagen and two from Stockholm. This decision follows the positive developments in the region, with several European airlines also resuming or expanding their services to Beirut.

“We know that many of our customers have been looking forward to the return of our Beirut flights. These routes are particularly important for those traveling to see family and friends, and we are delighted to once again offer a direct and convenient connection,” says Henrik Winell, Vice President Network at SAS.

Flights will be operated by Airbus A320neo, ensuring a modern and comfortable journey.

The schedule is designed to maximize flexibility and connectivity, with night flights offering convenient onward travel options to Northern Europe and North America.

Flight schedule:

  • Copenhagen–Beirut (CPH–BEY): Three weekly flights from June 6 to October 25, 2025
  • Stockholm–Beirut (ARN–BEY): Two weekly flights from June 17 to August 31, 2025

Flights are subject to government approval.
