After a virtually total rebuilt Domestic Terminal at Seychelles International Airport, the facility has removed the work barricades and the new terminal is now open to be used.
The Seychelles Civil Aviation Authority (SCAA) has posted a notice that states:- “We wish to advise the general public that drivers can now make use of the newly completed drop off point of the Domestic terminal. We appreciate your cooperation in using this new facility only for drop off and to use the parking facilities for parking”.
The Seychelles Domestic Terminal is a gateway to the islands of Praslin and La Digue as well as the touristic islands of Bird and Denis and is a facility that impacts a great deal on the comfort of passengers using Air Seychelles Domestic.
The SCAA should be congratulated for making available a brand new and good facility. The job on hand is to new serve the islands to make them economically successful without trying to increase costs that only end up slowing down businesses and punishing those who travel between the islands.
