SpiceJet appoints APG

SpiceJet appoints APG as its GSA in Belgium, Germany, the Netherlands and Switzerland

SpiceJet, one of India’s oldest low-cost carrier has extended its relationship with APG with the appointment of APG as its general sales agent (GSA) in Belgium, Germany, Netherlands, and Switzerland. This follows SpiceJet’s appointment of APG in other countries worldwide.

“We are delighted to be expanding our close cooperation with SpiceJet with its very successful business model and a strong commitment to growth particularly given its recent aircraft orders,” commented Richard Burgess, President – APG Network.

SpiceJet operates 630 average daily flights to 64 destinations 54 domestic and 10 international.

In May 2019 SpiceJet added its 100th aircraft to its fleet which now comprises 82 Boeing 737s, 32 Bombardier Q-400s, and four B737 freighters. These aircraft allow for safe, comfortable and efficient flying and are ideally suited for short to medium-haul flights typical of Indian conditions.

SpiceJet is the country’s largest organized regional player and has been at the forefront as the most enthusiastic supporter of UDAN and now operates 49 daily flights under the Regional Connectivity Scheme.
